In compliance of the Order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 23/03/2012 passed in I.A No. 16/2012 in','Civil Appeal No. 1944 of 1993 – Anand S.Biji Vs State of Kerala & Others and in order to comply with the directions','of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09/5/2017 passed in Writ Petition© No.267 of 2017 –Dar-Us-Slam','Educational Trust & Ors Vs MCI & Ors. Directorate General of health Services, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare','has been entrusted with the responsibility to hold on-line counselling for 50% All India Quota Post-Graduate Medical','and Dental seats and also as per the notification issued by the MCI for common counselling



MCC will conduct counselling for the following Institutions/Universities
50% All India Quota seats of all states (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats).
100% seats (All India Quota seats + Institutional Quota seats) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/
Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/ Central Institutes as per eligibility conditions mentioned in Important Questions related to Scheme of Counselling duly uploaded on MCC website.
100% seats of Deemed Universities.
50% AIQ P.G seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons).
All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions(only Registration part).
Central Institutes, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS & RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR,
Basaidarapur(50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University).

NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2024
NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2024—Foreign Medical Graduates
Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical','Colleges outside India should have qualified for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per','Screening Test Regulations, 2002 which is conducted by The National Board of Examinations. Further, they should','have been registered with the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and','should have completed their internship or are likely to complete their internship on or before 30 June','2024. Foreign Medical Graduates are required to bring their FMGE Pass certificate issued by NBE on their testing day','along with the provisional/permanent registration certificate issued by a medical council.





NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2024—Foreign Nationals
It is not mandatory for foreign nationals to have temporary registration with the National Medical Commission','(NMC) at the time of writing NEET-PG. Foreign Nationals can write NEET-PG without registration with NMC. The','NMC may, on payment of the prescribed fee for registration, grant temporary registration for the duration of the','postgraduate course limited to the medical college/institution to which he/she is admitted for the time being','exclusively for pursuing postgraduate studies. Provided further that temporary registration to such a foreign national','shall be subject to the condition that such a person is duly registered with appropriate registering authority in their','own country where they have obtained their Basic Medical qualification and are duly recognized by the corresponding','Medical Council or concerned authority.
NEET PG 2024 Exam Pattern
- NEET-PG 2024 shall be conducted in a single day & single session as a computer-based examination in the first week of March 2024.
- Syllabus:The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subject/knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt of India.
- The examination shall be multiple choice questions delivered using a computer network (CBT) as per a scheme prescribed. The exam comprises 200 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only. The time allotted is 3 hrs 30 min.
- There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
- During the examination, candidates are given the option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review, which means that the candidate has been given the option to go through these questions again before the examination time ends. Candidates may note that such questions that are marked for review shall be evaluated as per the marking scheme mentioned above.
NEET PG Admit Card
- The Admit Card for NEET PG 2024 will be available online on the official website for eligible candidates prior to the examination. Admit cards can be downloaded from the official website by entering the required details. Admit cards will contain details like name, roll number, exam date & timing, and exam center.
- Candidates have to bring an admit card along with one photo ID card like a PAN card, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, etc. to appear in the examination. Without an admit card, candidates cannot enter the examination hall.
NEET PG Result 2024
The Result of NEET PG exam 2024 will be declared by the competent authority probably in the month of March- April 2024. Candidate can obtain the result by accessing the official portal using their roll number/registration number, etc.
Thereafter, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained and a Rank Card will be issued accordingly. The Rank Card is an important document that has the candidate’s score and All India Rank.
NEET PG 2024 Counselling
On the basis of the NEET PG 2024 result, the eligible candidates can participate in the counseling process.','Directorate General of Health Science (DGHS) and Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will facilitate the process','for 50% of All India Quota seats. For the remaining 50% of seats, counseling will be done by State authorities. Final','admission will be based on NEET PG score, choice filled, and number of seats available.',' The candidates must keep ready all the relevant documents, as the competent authority will verify all the original','documents during the counseling process. If anyone fails to produce relevant documents, then his/her candidature','shall be liable to be cancelled. Admission will be allotted to the students purely on the basis of merit.
